The Hendersonville High School soccer program is committed to lending a helping hand to a family in need during the Christmas season. This will be the 13th year for our Christmas project and we want to make it the best one so far!
The Christmas project, it’s a way for the HHS soccer family to help out a local family who is in need of some assistance for the holidays. In the past, we have tried to bless the families with an anonymous gift. This project is a wonderful tradition and it couldn’t happen in such a big way without the generosity and kindness of all our families.
Here’s how it works. We ask that each family donate a gift card or cash. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, is a blessing.
In the past, some of the most popular gift cards have been Wal-Mart, Target, Kroger, gas cards, and restaurant gift cards. If you just can’t decide, pre-paid Visa cards are a wonderful idea. If you purchase a gift card that does not actually state the amount on the card itself, write the amount loaded on the card but please do not include “HHS Soccer” or your name. This allows us to keep the gifts totally anonymous.
If it’s easier for you to write a check, that’s great too! Just make it out to the “HHS Soccer Foundation”. This money will be used to purchase additional gift cards.
Our deadline for the Christmas project is Thursday December 18th. Please label the envelope containing your donation with “Coach Plummer” and have your child drop it by the school office.
If you have questions or need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me or Coach Plummer.
We wish you and your families a warm and wonderful holiday season!
